ABOUT US
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The Amador Air District consists of a Board of Directors and staff. The Board is comprised of five Amador County Board of Supervisors and one member from each of the following cities: Amador City, Ione, Jackson, Plymouth and Sutter Creek.
The staff includes the Air Pollution Control Officer, a Deputy Air Pollution Control Officer and
an Office Assistant.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Compliance assistance with regulations for businesses
To achieve and maintain ambient air quality standards set by US EPA and
California Air Resources Board
Protect public health and the environment from adverse air quality impacts
Participate in public planning efforts regarding development within the District
Assist the public with air quality issues
and education
Our staff strives to apply laws and policies equitable and consistently
with an open mind, and to conduct business in a timely professional manner.
